Immediate sense of spice to the nose followed by intense black cherry,plum with hints of peppercorn. Big alcohol is evident but I wouldn't call it overpowering in that sense. It does make for a “fruit bomb” of a beginning to this tasty Cab. All in all a strong showing.

Your '08 Cabernet Sauvignon which I opened at a tasting of wine professionals, sommeliers, and wine judges two weeks ago; The overall impression of the group was very favorable, with scores blind tasted between 90-93. Many good comments about structure, varietal expression, and flavor profile.
